(BEFORE THE CARD IS
INSERTED)
1 . Run setup from the CD
(winnt\nt-ap\setup.exe)
2 . power down system,
insert card, power on system.
RAS (remote access service) is fundamental to dialling in and out from
NT.
Check if RAS is
installed. This can be done by look ing
at controlpanel>network>services
3a . If RAS is NOT
installed.

controlpanel>modems>add
modem>select from list>have disk>point to driver location on CD
(normally d:\winnt\drivers\) then click finish
-
controlpanel>network>services>add>remote
acess service, when prompted to select a device, select
ISDNTA,>continue>restart.

Controlpanel>network>adaptors>add
NDIS adaptor from CD (d:\winnt\driver)>OK, click the properties of RAS,
remove any devices listed, then ADD, select both ISDN TA1 And ISDNTA2>continue,
NT should restart.

MyComputer>Dialupnetworking(DUN)>make
a new account and ensure that you select ISDN TA1 as the DEVICE.

You will now be able to
connect to the internet using the ISDN TA
3b . If RAS is already
installed
-
Controlpanel>network>adaptors>add
NDIS adaptor from CD (d:\winnt\driver)>OK, click the properties of RAS,
remove any devices listed, then ADD, select both ISDN TA1 And ISDNTA2>continue,
NT should restart.

MyComputer>Dialupnetworking(DUN)>make
a new account and ensure that you select ISDN TA1 as the DEVICE.
- You will now be able to connect to the internet using the ISDN TA
